Eighty per cent of Nicaraguans live on $2.00 or less a day. For more than half of that group, the figure is $1.00 or less a day.

Good pictures. Oddly, they remind me of my visit to Zambia last year. Third world countries have many of the same needs. Thank you for sharing them with us.

My son and I both looked at these pictures. He said "I bet they work very hard every day".

It is one thing to appreciate these pictures. I'll bet that your husband has a far more profound experience of seeing this place. Tell him thanks.

I've been moved by all the photos in this series but none as much as these today. It sounds as though the trip had a profound impact on your husband. I had no idea that Nicaragua was as poor and 3rd world as it is. Thank you for opening my eyes to this situation.
