Congratulation and best wishes for a long, happy retirement, Paul!

Would we be celebrating that with whiskey or beer - either could be made by the malt men?

Fitting that Paul is finishing up his last English class with Hamlet. Paul is a "Prince of a man"

I can't think that Paul is ready to "retire." Let's just call it a career change... I would certainly not mind making a career of not working... :)

Go for the gusto, Paul!

He's too young to retire!! He is just starting down another path! I am certain that his kids are going to miss him and talk about him for years and years. He will be the star at all the class reunions.

What a perfect picture. Despite the lack of malt, I'm still bringing margaritas to the send off bash. Here's to lots of enjoyment for Paul in this next phase and a litle tip of the hat to education's loss.

Dear Paul..

I know so many students have benefitted from your insight and guidance. What fortunate kids they are.

You certainly have many wonderful (fun...OUTLANDISH) experiences waiting for you around this next bend. Enjoy every minute. And don't forget to blog them for us!!

The adventure continues...

Much love,
Kat

Oh what will you do with all that extra time, Paul? Imagine all those books out there to be read! All those boats to float upon; all those fish to catch. I wonder how much you will miss the classroom?Have a great retirement.

Hey ~ who are you calling a lady? But you already know how I feel. Maltmen, maltwomen ~ I raise a jar to you, your wonderful accomplishments and the bright open road before you. Rock on.

(The word verification below is 'nhwie' which I believe sounds vaguely Irish.) Nhwie to you and yours! ;)

Ohhhhhh, I agree with all the sentiments already expressed here...you're too young to retire, but I'm sure you won't actually retire...you'll be off on wonderful new adventures, and you've got to promise to write about them...well, about SOME of them, at least! Best wishes to you in this new phase of your life, Paul.
